Family restaurant with homemade dishes. Located in the heart of Pipa!
On Avenida Baía dos Golfinhos, at number 155, there is a white wall with a carved wooden sign, a hanging swing covered in flowers and a long bench with cushions. That corner is the door to an Argentine house: inside you eat milanesa, empanadas and Argentine cuts of beef, and the kitchen runs from eleven in the morning to eleven at night, seven days a week.

The menu is split into blocks and each block solves a different kind of table. What follows comes from the menu the house itself photographed and put up in its own gallery.
This is the block that gives the house its name and the first one to read. Three cuts come off the grill, all three billed as Argentine: picanha, bife de chorizo and assado de tira. Each comes with two sides of your choice from rice, salad, chips, grilled vegetables, mash and beans — the table builds the plate rather than receiving it closed.
To share there is the meat board, which brings together filé mignon, Argentine picanha, assado de tira, chicken and sausage, with chips, vinaigrette and barbecue sauce. It is what a table of four orders when it wants to try everything without arguing.
Here is the part of a neighbourhood Argentine kitchen that everyone recognises on sight. There is beef milanesa and chicken milanesa, served with rice and one side of your choice, and both in the parmigiana version. Add the filé mignon in mushroom sauce with mash, the knife-and-fork dish with no grill involved.
The seafood list is long, and it is the proof that the house did not shut itself inside a single repertoire. There is grilled tuna with teriyaki and grilled vegetables, grilled fish in shrimp sauce, shrimp risotto and seafood risotto; shrimp moqueca and fish moqueca; seafood caldeirada with rice and pirão; and tropical shrimp flambéed in a pineapple, which arrives served inside the fruit, with Greek rice and sautéed potatoes. For anyone who wants it all at once, the mistura do mar brings breaded squid, shrimp and fish.
Among the starters come the fried empanadas, the picanha bites, the fish ceviche, the golden squid, the panko-breaded shrimp and the guacamole toast. The woks arrive with oriental rice, grilled vegetables, lemon cream and a soy-and-sake sauce, in a shrimp or a tofu version. And the burger has a vegan variant, with a lentil, spinach and linseed patty in ciabatta, roast beetroot, caramelised onion, carrot mayonnaise and sun-dried tomato, with sweet potato chips. The pasta — spaghetti and fettuccine — comes with tomato, mixed, four-cheese or white sauce.
The house has a children's menu of its own, with three dishes made for them: grilled chicken with rice and chips, buttered spaghetti with parmesan, and strips of grilled filé mignon with chips. Few menus in the village put that in writing, and it settles half the family negotiation before anyone sits down.
The drinks list matches the size of the food one. There is beer in a long run, wine by the glass in red and white, and spirits — whisky, tequila, vodka, liqueurs and a special cachaça. The cocktails have names of their own: lagoa azul, mar rosa, margarita and strawberry margarita, tropical gin and gin and tonic, mojito, caipirinha, caipiroska, caipifruta, cuba libre, piña colada, daiquiri and tropical rum.
On the alcohol-free side there are fresh juices — pineapple, acerola, cashew fruit, orange, lime, passion fruit, grape — and a line of mixed and special juices: strawberry with orange, strawberry with coconut water, acerola with orange, pineapple with lime, apple and coconut water. And there is a non-alcoholic cocktail of fruit with ice cream, which is what the table with children orders.
The corner that identifies the house is the swing: a painted white brick wall, a wooden board with the name carved into it, a swing covered in flowers and a long bench with cushions. It is where you wait for a table and what everyone recognises from the pavement.
Inside, the dining room is high-ceilinged with exposed roof tiles, white beams, ceiling fans, woven lamps hanging down and plants coming off the beams. The tables and chairs are pale wood, and the bar with the bottles sits at the back. There is live music, and you can see it in how the room is laid out: there is clear floor in front of the bar.
The kitchen shows in the plates: they arrive on blue-and-white striped china, with a basket of chips on the side and a bowl of rice next to it. This is table service with waiters, not counter service, and the format is built for the table to share.
Open seven days, 11am to 11pm. Twelve hours straight, with no break between lunch and dinner and not one rest day. In a village where a good share of the kitchens closes one or two days a week, that makes this the safe menu for the day you did not plan.
The unbroken schedule has one practical consequence: you can eat at three in the afternoon, which is exactly when most kitchens on the avenue are shut. For anyone coming up from the beach late, or arriving in Pipa mid-afternoon without lunch, it is the direct answer.
For dinner the kitchen runs to eleven at night. That is the stretch when the avenue fills and the live music plays, so it is worth messaging ahead on WhatsApp if the table is large or you want a particular spot.
It sits at Avenida Baía dos Golfinhos 155, the main street of Praia da Pipa. You reach it on foot from anywhere in the village centre along the avenue itself, with no turns and nothing to cross.
From Baía dos Golfinhos you walk back up the same avenue, so it falls neatly on the way home from the beach, before you reach your room. Coming in from Natal, from the airport or from another beach along the coast, look at the transfer options to cover the stretch into the village and move on foot from there.
The house states it does kerbside pickup: you order by phone and collect without going into the dining room. Home delivery is not stated, so collection is the route. With a menu this size — cuts with two sides, pasta, woks, risottos — it is a concrete answer for the night you do not want to leave the apartment and do not want pizza either.
For the Argentine traveller missing milanesa and empanadas, and for the Brazilian who wants to try a bife de chorizo without leaving central Pipa.
For the family table: there is a kids' menu of its own, unbroken hours from eleven, and a menu long enough for everyone to order their own thing.
And for the mixed table where somebody does not eat meat: vegan burger, tofu wok, pasta in white sauce and a whole seafood list.
